Medical Sales Representative (Oncology) – Join the team to connect healthcare professionals with advanced therapeutics and drive growth for Pfizer’s oncology portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and execute effective virtual / in-person engagement strategies to maximize overall impact.
  • Build rapport and maintain long‑term business relationships with assigned territory customers across virtual and face‑to‑face environments.
  • Develop, implement, and adapt sales planning for channels and healthcare professionals (HCPs) based on self‑identified opportunities and insights.
  • Utilize digital tools (Veeva Engage, Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Office, and emerging platforms) to deliver insights and next‑best actions.
  • Grow business and drive product demand by providing education and insights that meet HCP and patient needs.
  • Deliver compliant, targeted messaging to influence prescribing behavior and support Pfizer’s product demand goals.
  • Leverage market knowledge of products and disease states to engage key stakeholders effectively.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Medical, Market Access, Marketing, etc.) to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
  • Use calendaring tools and leadership goals to prioritize and improve customer engagement models.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Pharmacy, Science, or a related health field.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in sales, with a proven track record of promotional or sales success.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and accountability skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and a compliant driving record.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, especially oncology.
  • Residency within the assigned territory.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic area and associated products.
  • Experience developing comprehensive territory / customer plans and overcoming access obstacles.
  • Ability to build relationships with key opinion leaders and high‑priority customers.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical, project‑management, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence customers, communicate effectively, and lead teams.
  • Capacity to learn quickly and adapt to new working methods in a dynamic environment.
  • Work Location Assignment

    Remote – Field Based.
