Job descriptionTo perform General Accounting day-to-day transactions and ensuring delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness and timeliness on a daily basis. To accurately process all General Accounting transactions and activities within the given time frame. All transactions should be processed i.e. entered into system or rejected according to the established process and procedures. To ensure the accuracy and the completeness of the transaction processed. Review and book accounting transactions based on Business Groups inputs. Maintain master data i.e. general ledger account codes, internal orders, cost centers, profit centers etc based on Business Groups inputs. Perform analytical review and clearing of open items in Balance Sheet accounts. Perform analytical review and analysis of Balance Sheet accounts inclusive of trend analysis and highlighting abnormalities to General Accounting Team Lead. Execute month end closing tasks in accordance with work instructions and month end close schedule / checklist. A degree / diploma / professional certificate in the related job field. Those with 2 to 5 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role. Candidate with experience in SAP / RPA would be an added advantage. Willing to be based at Penang.
