Do you love challenges?

  • Manage message processing, handle technical incident management, and oversee service requests, change requests, and problem management, including root cause analysis.
  • Perform installation, patching, and upgrade activities for database and system environments.
  • Responsible for performance monitoring, tuning, backup and restore, and recovery procedures to ensure system integrity and continuity.
  • Ensure high availability of systems, including the setup and management of disaster recovery environments.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in system operations and architecture optimization.
  • Contribute to the development of tools and concepts aimed at preventing issues, improving system stability, and increasing operational efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively in international teams, driving global knowledge sharing and maintaining high-quality documentation.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for customers, promote internal knowledge transfer, and mentor junior team members and trainees.
  • Lead the planning, setup, and execution of technical migration projects, as well as continuous improvement initiatives related to products and processes.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong technical aptitude and a customer-focused, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in database administration and architecture, specifically with Oracle or SAP HANA. Additional experience with MS SQL or MySQL is an added advantage.
  • Solid experience working in large-scale, / 7 production environments.
  • Expertise in debugging and resolving complex database issues.
  • Strong knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python, with a good working knowledge of Linux environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to participate in weekend support, on-call rotations, and work as part of a globally distributed team.
