The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the full project lifecycle — from planning, design, tender, and construction to authority approvals and final handover. The role ensures projects are executed efficiently, meet design, quality, and compliance standards, and are delivered within approved timelines and budgets. The incumbent will also oversee township management and provide leadership and guidance to project teams to achieve organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Delivery
Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, design, tender, construction, authority liaison, and handover stages.
Manage and coordinate all project deliverables to ensure timely completion in accordance with the master schedule and approved budget.
Lead consultants and contractors in Client-Consultant Meetings, Technical Meetings, Site Meetings, and other project-related discussions.
Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with quality, cost, design specifications, and Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) requirements in collaboration with the QESH team.
2. Design & Technical Coordination
Review and provide input on consultants’ designs to ensure technical soundness, compliance with authority requirements, and design optimization.
Work closely with the Contracts Department to ensure tender and award processes are carried out in line with project timelines.
3. Township Management
Oversee township operations, including maintenance, defect rectification works, and OPEX / CAPEX management.
Coordinate the complete handover process to the Property Management team and manage defect monitoring during the Defect Liability Period (DLP) in collaboration with the Customer Experience team.
4. Authorities & Compliance
Liaise with relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvals and ensure all project works comply with statutory regulations and conditions.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to ensure effective project execution.
Prepare and present regular project updates, reports, and recommendations to the General Manager, Project, and Management.
Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.
