Job Overview :

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Mandarin Subject Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate Mandarin, English, Malay, Science, Mathematics lessons to preschool-aged children. This role also supports the overall development of language, cognitive, and social-emotional skills in a fun and nurturing environment.

Qualifications :

  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Mandarin Language, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of teaching experience with young children, preferably in Mandarin instruction.
  • Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written); proficiency in English is an added advantage.
  • Passionate about teaching and working with preschool-aged children.
  • Creative, energetic, and patient with strong classroom management skills.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and language teaching strategies.

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
  • Familiarity with play-based or Montessori-inspired language teaching.
  • Ability to design interactive Mandarin learning materials and activities.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills in Mandarin.

    • Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan and conduct Mandarin language lessons using interactive, play-based methods tailored to young learners.
  • Introduce children to basic Mandarin vocabulary, conversation, characters, and writing strokes.
  • Use songs, stories, puppets, role play, and visual aids to enhance Mandarin language acquisition.
  • Prepare engaging learning materials and decorate the classroom to support Mandarin learning themes.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment for young children.
  • Communicate with parents regarding children’s progress and language development.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to support school programs and events.
