Business Relationship Manager – Airbus Helicopters Malaysia

Position : Permanent, Professional, Leadership level. Employer : Airbus Helicopters Malaysia SDN. BHD.

Role Overview : You will serve as a trusted advisor and connector, ensuring effective business‑relationship management with strategic partners and stakeholders across Digital & IM. You will support operations in Malaysia and also support smaller entities such as Thailand and Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures and secures strategic vision alignment between Digital and IM and Airbus.
• Represents Digital and IM and promotes its vision, value, services and capabilities.
• Establishes and nurtures close productive relationships with peers and business leaders to create a well‑balanced, transparent, prioritised backlog of transformational and business continuity objectives.
• Handles and facilitates escalations.
• Reports and communicates Digital and IM performance to business.
• Upholds Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct, promoting awareness across the organisation.
• Carries out any other task directed by the superior.
• Supports the transnational manager to ensure local accountability and alignment with expectations.
• Acts as local focal point for employee issues and supports local HR processes.
• Provides feedback to transnational manager on local engagement, behaviours, motivation and well‑being of staff.
• Eases the coordination of local HR processes and cascades information.
• Acts as coach / mentor and supports career development.
• Ensures staff whereabouts (leave, holidays, smart working, etc.) are informed.
• Supports and coaches the Thailand / Vietnam SRM in local Business Relationship activities, including strategic vision, budget management, O&P and portfolio management.
• Channels escalation, strategic and operational topics to the leadership team.
• Acts as interim when a local SRM does not exist.

Qualifications & Experience

Additional responsibilities include acting as Proximity Manager for co‑located team members and supporting local HR processes.
