Job description

Responsibilities

Patrolling daily to ensure routine maintenance records, inspection checklist, and logbooks are in compliance.
Oversee work schedule for technicians and contractors to ensure targets are met and requirements are satisfied.
Supervise and verify work done by contractors to ensure work quality and 5S after completion.
Check and reply to internal customer highlighted issues and update the status when issues are closed.
Support and assist for new projects and renovation projects; prepare necessary documents such as reports, proposals, schedules, validation documents, protocols, standard operating procedures, and checklists.
Prepare CAD drawings and update drawings as per specification and As-Built condition.
Assist in troubleshooting equipment and system problems, identify root cause, risk, and propose solutions.
Monitor and update calibration schedules for equipment, sensors, and testing instruments; arrange service providers to perform calibrations as scheduled.
Monitor and update recertification schedules for cleanroom performance testing (CPT), compressed dry air performance testing, and premise inspections; arrange service providers to perform activities as planned.
Monitor inventory stock for spare parts and consumables for maintenance purposes.
Assist in providing training to technicians, prepare training material, and monitor training plans.
Report to supervisors any abnormal conditions, deviations, or non-conformances in a timely manner.
Perform other reasonable duties or project work as required by management.
Manage day-to-day facilities operations including maintenance and repair work for systems and equipment in the factory, including :
HVAC System (Heating & Ventilation Air-Conditioning)
Compressed Air System (Compressors, Air Dryer)
Electrical System
Communication Network, CCTV & Door Access System (Including Card and Biometric Access)
Cleanroom
Water Supply System & Plumbing System
Building Maintenance
Fire-Fighting System and Equipment
Pest Control
Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS), Schedule waste and Non-Schedule waste disposal
Safety aspect of the entire factory

Qualifications

A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution or university.

Minimum 3 years of work experience in plant facilities maintenance; knowledge or experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) preferred.

Basic knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations and practices.

Able to prepare CAD drawings and update as per specification and As-Built condition.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Good written and spoken English and Malay communication skills.
