JOB DESCRIPTION
HR (Temp) : responsible for supporting all employees located in Malaysia. Act as HR backup for Malaysia as needed. This is an individual contributor position with responsibility for managing the general HR functions reporting to Senior HR Generalist n Malaysia.
Global Recruiter : work closely with hiring managers and executive staff to fill positions in Malaysia.
Responsibilities : HR Functions
- Demonstrated experience in all employee life cycle phases, including recruiting and staffing, training and development, performance management, benefits and compensation, and succession planning
- Prepare new hire paperwork and assist with new hire orientations and HR processes for Malaysia-based hires
- Support HR initiatives are business-driven and in synergy with the organization’s operating goals and strategic direction
- Support international employee benefits
- Participate in the development and implementation of international policies and procedures
- Support the internal and external HR website and HR Newsletter
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by manager
- Document paper trail for SOX and other compliance requirements

Full cycle of Malaysia recruiting and sourcingWork closely with the hiring managers to gain a thorough understanding of the needs of the position and develop / execute effective recruitment plans for each requisitionSource candidates via job postings, social networking resources, and creative sourcing techniquesPrepare and procure approvals for job descriptions, personnel requisitions and offers. Coordinate with HR team to procure job leveling and compensation dataMaintain applicant tracking data baseManage external and internal job postingsScreen resumes and candidates.Set up / perform phone screens and coordinate interviewsPerform reference checks and process background checksActively participate in offer process from pre-close to offer acceptanceRequirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Discipline or equivalent2-3 years of combined recruiting and general HR experience in a technical environment, preferably in the semiconductor industryStrong sourcing skills and ability to cold call passive candidatesGood organizational skills with ability to multi-task and keen attention to detailStrong understanding of general business and HR principles and processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFluency in written and spoken local language (Malay) and EnglishAble to travel to internationally as requiredExcellent knowledge of Malaysia HR laws and regulations, labor law and complianceExperience supporting HR infrastructure, programs, and processesAble to work independently and as a team member
