Project Supervisor (Plantation / Logging)

Overview

A estate supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily plantation operations, ensuring optimal productivity, quality, and adherence to agricultural best practices. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage workers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate plantation activities, including planting, harvesting, fertilization and pest control.
• Monitor crop health and ensure proper maintenance of the plantation.
• Manage and lead a team of plantation workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of plantation activities, yields and resources usage.
• Report progress, challenges, and recommendations to management.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for necessary materials and services.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Any other tasks assigned by superior.
