Job Purpose :

  • Establish project governance structure.
  • Provide management reports.
  • Prioritize projects per strategic business objectives.
  • Plan and schedule resources efficiently.
  • Forecast and enable resource capacity planning.

Job Description :

  • Leadership & Strategy : Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's business goals and objectives. Provide leadership and direction to the IT PMO team.
  • Project Management : Oversee the management of critical IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Engage with stakeholders to provide regular updates and manage expectations.
  • Governance & Compliance : Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate risks.
  • Portfolio Management : Manage the IT project portfolio, ensuring all projects are aligned with strategic priorities and deliver value to the organization.
  • Process Improvement : Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of IT operations. Ensure standardized processes are followed across the IT department.
  • Audit & Reporting : Facilitate internal and external audits related to IT operations and security. Publish key metrics to track the health of IT projects and portfolios.
  • Qualification & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
  • 10-12 years of experience in IT project management, governance, and strategy, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, IT governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance. Experience with SQL, JAVA, and cloud technologies is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with ability to understand business needs and create effective IT strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effective at communicating with all levels of management and stakeholders.
