Machine Setup & Operation :
Setup : Install fixtures, accessories, and tooling on CNC machines like lathes and mills.
Operation : Operate and monitor CNC machinery to perform machining tasks such as drilling, turning, and cutting.
Adjustments : Monitor production, adjust machine settings and feed rates, and perform tool changes and offsets as needed.
Quality Control & Maintenance :
Inspection : Conduct quality inspections of finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet specifications.
Maintenance : Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on CNC equipment to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of approved and defective units and production processes.
Teamwork : Work closely with engineering and production teams to refine designs and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Process Improvement : Implement strategies to enhance productivity and align results with company quality expectations.
Key Skills & Knowledge
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Proficiency with CAD / CAM software packages (SolidWorks).
Expertise in G-code programming and operation of CNC machinery, including multi-axis machines.
Knowledge of materials, cutting technologies, and appropriate tooling.
Skills in precision measurement and quality inspection.
