Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred. Proven experience (3+ years) in corporate tax, ideally within a similar industry. Strong understanding of local and international tax laws and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in tax software and MS Office suite.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit accurate tax returns on time, including corporate income tax, VAT / GST, and withholding taxes.
- Develop tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position, focusing on transfer pricing, tax incentives, and credits.
- Maintain organized documentation for all tax activities and transactions for audits.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during audits, providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
- Monitor changes in tax laws, assess their impact, and make adjustments as needed.
- Calculate and record tax provisions, as well as deferred tax assets and liabilities, in financial statements.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and operational teams to ensure compliance and improve tax processes.
- Prepare tax reports and analyze data to find savings and reduce risks.
