Job descriptionApply your knowledge of molding processes to maintain and optimize equipment used in the production of medical-grade plastic products. Ensure that all mechanical systems are calibrated and maintained to meet the rigorous standards required for medical plastics manufacturing. Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all critical mechanical equipment. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts replacement and system modifications. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems and equipment. Work closely with the engineering and production teams to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance. Ensure that all mechanical maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Follow industry standards and best practices, particularly in the maintenance of equipment used in medical plastics production. Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools required for mechanical maintenance activities. Coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely availability of high-quality parts and components. Provide technical support and guidance to production operators on the proper use and maintenance of mechanical systems. Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment. Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanic Technician, with a strong background in molding within the plastic manufacturing industry. Expertise in medical plastics is a significant advantage. Proficient in the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, particularly those used in molding processes. Fluent in Mandarin, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and stakeholders.
