Interviews will be conducted in London, Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester for UK based candidates. International candidates will be interviewed in Malaysia or online via Zoom.

About the position

We seek to appoint a history with a true passion for their subject. The use of well differentiated, formative assessment practices are required. Familiarity with, or a clear ability to work within a British Curriculum framework is needed, as is the ability to work in an environment where English is the medium of instruction. Experience in teaching IGCSE and A Levels history and / or Global Perspectives is an advantage.

A minimum of two years of teaching experience and PGCE / qualified teacher status (QTS) is required.

Our school

The HELP International School is at the forefront of holistic education for 3 to 18-year olds in Malaysia. Entering its tenth year of operation, it has enjoyed phenomenal growth with 1600 students on its roll. The school is now entering a new and exciting phase of its development as it implements its most recent strategic plan, supported by further investment in buildings and resources.

Our host country, Malaysia is an amazing place to live and work in. A number of our staff are now into their fourth or fifth year of working at our school.

Remuneration package

The appointment commences from in August 2026. The remuneration package for expatriate employees offers a competitive salary, and includes housing allowance, medical insurance, annual flights, Apple Macbook Air laptop, education for dependent children, and other benefits.
