Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont Kiara will be the first Hyatt House hotel in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, located in Mont Kiara. The hotel will feature approximately 298 guestrooms, a restaurant, meeting space, fitness centre, and a sky pool. This is an exciting opportunity to join Hyatt House in Southeast Asia as part of a growing brand.

Responsibilities

Take an active role in resolving maintenance issues for guest and associate areas, addressing issues immediately when possible and escalating those requiring specialist skills.

Handle and maintain power tools safely and properly.

Submit requests to the Engineering Manager for purchases of parts and consumables.

Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and protect surrounding areas when executing duties.

Implement effective energy conservation measures in operations.

Ensure timely completion of work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.

Assist with and ensure the Preventive Maintenance Program is carried out promptly and to high standards.

Assist other Hosts with duties throughout the hotel when requested by a superior.

Any additional specialist skill is an advantage.

Qualifications

Active involvement in resolving maintenance issues for guest and staff areas, with ability to handle issues or escalate as needed.

Proper handling and maintenance of all power tools.

Experience submitting purchase requests for parts and consumables.

Commitment to cleanliness and safety in work areas; protect surroundings during duties.

Ability to support energy conservation measures in operations.

Proven ability to complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks on time.

Support preventive maintenance program execution to ensure high standards.

Willingness to assist other departments as needed.

Additional specialist skills are an advantage.
