Project Manager (Trade shows & Exhibitions) (Job ID : 13687)

Project Manager (Events & Exhibitions | Remote | MNC)

Location : Remote (Klang Valley)

Salary : RM9,000 – RM11,500 per month

Employment Type : 12 months via PERSOL (renewable based on performance)

Working Hours : Monday – Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of international exhibitions and trade shows in the construction materials sector . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with global teams, and is passionate about driving commercial success through events.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for exhibitions and trade shows.
  • Manage sales performance, sponsorships , and agent networks .
  • Develop and execute strategies across sales, marketing, and operations .
  • Collaborate with international teams to achieve event goals.
  • Track budgets, timelines , and monitor competitive activities .
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for leadership and senior management.
  • Travel occasionally within the ASEAN region (around 10% travel per year).

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in trade shows, exhibitions , or event project management .
  • Proven ability to lead projects and meet sales or revenue targets .
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
  • Experience in construction materials exhibitions is an added advantage.
  • Independent, proactive, and highly collaborative team player.
  • Willing to travel 1–2 weeks annually across ASEAN.
