Job Title : DRSC Tax – Tax Technology Consulting (Assistant Manager)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager in Tax Technology Consulting (Statutory Accounting). The successful candidate will focus primarily on APAC regional delivery of US GAAP to Local GAAP conversions and assist with the preparation of APAC statutory accounting services.
Work you’ll do
- Focus primarily on APAC regional delivery of US GAAP to Local GAAP conversions.
- Assist with the preparation of APAC statutory accounting services (GAAP conversion and financial statements).
- Assist with the reporting and documentation process focusing on regional centralisation of indirect tax returns and financial statements preparation.
- Assist with the preparation of Financial Statements (for various IFRS-compliant countries in APAC).
- Coordinate the delivery of tax and statutory accounting services for corporate clients in the APAC region.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field, with a Professional Qualification or in the process of completing professional papers as recognized by ISCA or equivalent.5 years of audit and accounting experience in an international accounting firm or in an MNC where you have been involved in IFRS / SFRS audit or GAAP conversion.Strong IFRS (or equivalent) technical skills.Have general knowledge of differences between US GAAP and IFRS.Must have general knowledge on the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance to IFRS and similar GAAPs & audit process.Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.Excellent research and project management skills.Highly organized and have a strong analytical mind.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Candidates must be resident in Malaysia, or have the right to work in Malaysia.
