Senior Executive Regulatory & Compliance

We are looking for a motivated and responsible Senior Executive Regulatory & Compliance to join our team in a growing cosmetic manufacturing company. You will be involved in ensuring documentation complies with regulatory standards, assisting in audits, and supporting the registration of cosmetic products in both local and international markets. This position requires strong documentation skills, good communication with suppliers and internal departments, and the ability to handle confidential regulatory information with integrity. The successful candidate will play a key supporting role in maintaining regulatory readiness and assisting in project implementation within the department.

Scope of Work

Regulatory Compliance & Documentation – Ensure products comply with ASEAN Cosmetic Directive, NPRA (Malaysia), Halal, Organic (Cosmos / Ecocert) and other relevant regulations; prepare and maintain Product Information Files (PIFs), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and technical documentation; monitor changes in regulatory requirements and update internal teams accordingly; handle product registration for local and overseas authorities; maintain systematic filing of regulatory documentation; develop and update SOP for the product registration process for related country / market we enter; review SOP for all the departments.
Certification & Audit – Handle the applications, renewals and audits for Halal, GMP, Cosmos / Ecocert, and other certifications; lead and conduct internal and external audits, ensuring all required compliance documents are complete and accurate.
Product Safety & Testing – Arrange product testing (stability, microbiological, preservative efficacy, safety assessment) and verify received reports; ensure product claims and labelling are scientifically and legally substantiated.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work closely with R & D, QA / QC, and Production teams to ensure compliance at all stages of product development; provide training and updates on regulatory changes to relevant departments.
Support any additional assignments or task required by Superior.

Requirements

Academic Qualification – Possess any bachelor’s degree, or any recognized professional certificates of equivalent standard. Candidates with part qualifications are also encouraged to apply.

Work Experience – At least 2-3 years of related working experience. Candidates who possess experience in the manufacturing environment and audits would be advantageous.

Strong Personal Traits – A self-starter, disciplined and self-motivated. Ability to work independently. Have a good documentation skill.

Trustworthiness & Integrity – Demonstrate a high level of integrity in all aspects of conduct. Discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive business information. A strong commitment to safeguard the company’s interests and exposures.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills – Good verbal and written communication and good interpersonal skills are required, as you will be interacting with both internal and external parties.

Growth – Proactive, with a strong personal growth mindset.

Computer Skills – Strong proficiencies in MS Office modules are desired.
