About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Executive to join our team in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our customer base in the KL region. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new sales opportunities that align with our strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

Prospecting and identifying new sales leads in the local market
Arranging and conducting client meetings to pitch HP Pet Food's products and services
Negotiating and closing new business deals with prospective clients
Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to final contract signing
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients
Providing regular sales reports and forecasts to management
Supporting the wider sales team with market research and competitive analysis

What we're looking for

2-3 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the pet food industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software

Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
