Job Description

The principal function of this position is to manage the company's energy consumption and implement an energy management system.

• Holds a valid certificate of Register Energy Manager Type 2 register with Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• Collect and analyze data on energy consumption by the company.
• Ensure the company implements the energy management system.
• Monitor the implementation of the energy management system by the company.
• Prepare the energy efficiency and conservation report for the company.
• Ensure the accuracy of information provided in the energy efficiency and conservation report.
• Advise the company on energy saving measures and monitor their implementation.
• Facilitate the registration of an energy auditor to perform an energy audit for the company.
• Apply for an energy intensity label from the Commission for each building owned by the company.
• Ensure the energy intensity performance of the building complies with the energy efficiency rating.
