Interior Designer

Job descriptionDegree / Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, D5, Enscape, or similar. Strong knowledge of fit-out detailing, joinery & materials. Familiar with local authority guidelines (MBPJ, MBPP, BOMBA, CIDB). Creative thinker with excellent aesthetic judgment & trend awareness. Strong communication skills – able to pitch ideas confidently to clients. Team player with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Experience in commercial / corporate fit-out projects preferred.
What You'll Do
- Create conceptual designs, space planning & 3D visuals that wow clients.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings (AutoCAD / Revit) for fit-out execution.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture & lighting.
- Work closely with project managers, QS, engineers, and contractors to turn design into reality.
- Support tender, BOQ & procurement processes, ensuring designs match budgets.
- Conduct site visits & coordination to maintain design intent.
- Present ideas and proposals directly to clients.
