Job description
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main administrator and subject matter expert for warehouse operations systems, including ERP, WMS, CRM, and DMS.
Manage the configuration, maintenance, and improvement of system workflows for warehouse operations
Lead and manage system upgrades, patches, and process documentation.
Liaise with GICT or vendors for system issue resolution, testing, and new feature implementation (SIT – System Integrity Technology), with a solid understanding of PI XML and SOAP protocols.
Oversee and ensure data accuracy across all systems, including master data, transaction logs, and process data.
Analyse system logs and reports to identify data discrepancies and report findings to the relevant departments for resolution.
Ensure proper integration between system and operational processes.
Develop and maintain dashboards, and automate repetitive reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or Excel macros.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Warehouse, Procurement, Finance, and GICT to align system capabilities with business processes and improve efficiency.
Act as the bridge between technical teams (IT / Developers) and operational users to translate requirements.
Provide training and support to end users on system functionalities and process compliance.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related field.
7 years of experience warehouse operations, business systems support, or warehouse management environments.
Strong hands-on experience with at least one ERP / WMS system (SAP).
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
Solid understanding of warehouse workflows and control processes.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize business processes using system tools.
Strong project management and documentation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
Analytical mindset with high attention to data accuracy and system reliability.
Technical skills : ERP systems (SAP S / 4HANA), Warehouse Management Systems, Reporting / BI tools (Power BI), SQL or scripting for data queries (preferred but not required), experience integrating Barcode and RFID technologies within IoT systems.
Candidate must be willing to work at Glenmarie, Shah Alam.
