Job description

Overview To ensure quality objectives and product performance are met through constant monitoring and improvement of internal and external requirements.

Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders in the plant to drive continuous improvement of product safety and quality, GMP control, manage process control, risk management, compliance to regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

Review, develop and maintain a systematic approach for SOPs, records and product specifications to enhance quality efficiency and performance at plant.

Ensure all timely and consistent corrective and preventive measures are well addressed and implemented of in-process non-conformance, customer complaint and auditing (internal & external) with appropriate and quick respond manner to address root cause and proper solutions. Follow up and update management on the progress and effectiveness of the action plan on timely basis.

Establishing and maintaining quality control measures throughout the production process, from raw material sourcing to finished product distribution, to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards.

To lead and motivate the subordinate to ensure that the team is competent and capable to perform their routines in meet quality management system and management expectations.

Providing training and guidance to staff on quality assurance principles, procedures, and best practices to ensure a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Degree in Science / Food Science / Food Technology or related field preferred.

Minimum 5 years working experience in similar role preferably in food industry with 3 years experience at Managerial level.
