Technician

The Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment, primarily forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and other related material handling equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities :

• Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components.
• Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues.
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently, documenting all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and repair techniques.
• Manage parts inventory and order necessary supplies. (May be required depending on the role)
