Job description

Responsibilities

Ensuring plants operated in compliance with design parameters and process safety
Monitor and report plant unit consumption and process KPI
Provide corrective actions (RCA) for process abnormality / alarm / troubleshooting
Provide technical training to Production for better process understanding and upgrading their work standard
Perform plant commissioning, trial runs, startup and shutdown
During turnaround, coordinate, plan and organize mechanical, instrument and electrical work requirement with Production team
Responsible for plant improvement, process troubleshooting

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from reputable university with 2nd class upper and above

2-3 years working experiences in manufacturing industry preferably chemical, oleochemical or petrochemical

Able to perform heat and mass balance and pressure loss calculation

Good command in engineering simulation software (HYSYS / UniSim, HTRI) will be an added advantage

Knowledge of GMP, FSSC22000 will be added advantage
