Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling and database design, with a focus on creating efficient and scalable data structures to support our business objectives.

Responsibilities

Design and develop data models that meet business requirements.
Collaborate with data architects and other stakeholders to define data structures and standards.
Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights.
Ensure data integrity and quality through effective modeling practices.
Create documentation for data models and related processes.
Participate in data governance initiatives to maintain data standards.

Skills and Qualifications

8-12 years of experience in data modeling and database design.

Proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect, or similar tools.

Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems like Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.

Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Understanding of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
