IT Support Technician

Job descriptionSupport IT network infrastructure, including network port activation, vendor coordination for cabling, and basic network troubleshooting. Provide Level 1 technical support for multifunction printers, thin clients, and desktop / laptop computers, particularly within a production environment. Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and peripheral devices. Coordinate with and follow up on vendors for network cabling, equipment installation, and issue resolution. Conduct routine system checks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of IT systems in assigned areas.
Job Requirements :
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of practical IT support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Solid basic knowledge of networking concepts and hardware troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills when interacting with vendors and internal teams.
