Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for operations of specific programs assigned to by ensuring delivery of service levels in compliance with company and customer requirements.
  • Perform required periodic cycle count of the cargo stored in the warehouse and report any discrepancies.
  • Handle customer complaints with regard to Inventory.
  • Manage cargo damage and rework activities.
  • Perform stock movement and adjustment updates in WMS.
  • Communicate and update customers via email on a daily basis.
  • Monitor and re-order stock for packaging materials as and when required.
  • Complete all required documentation such as inventory reports, damage reports, rework reports, etc., and timely submission to customer as required.
  • Monitor and supervise a group of workers from the agency to ensure the workers deliver the required tasks accurately and on time.
  • Organize the required team members in delegating tasks among subordinates on a daily basis.
  • Provide support to warehouse senior executive in implementation of initiatives to meet warehouse goals, strategy and policies.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the overall warehouse area and take necessary action to maintain the condition.
  • Stop and report any unsafe activity within the warehouse to the immediate superior.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ work experience in the logistics and transportation industry.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management system would be an advantage.
  • Service oriented, good interpersonal and communication skills.
