About your role

Perform daily financial transactions, including verification, classification, posting, and reconciliation of payments and collections.

To ensure daily disbursements are accurately and timely recorded in the book and in an organized manner (timely updating the working schedules).

To ensure accurate and timely verification of collections received and update collections into the system.

To ensure accurate and timely processing of loan disbursements and updating disbursements into the system.

Maintain up-to-date and accurate General Ledger (GL) entries and bank reconciliations

Ensure proper filing and bookkeeping

To maintain the Fixed Assets Register timely and correctly, and perform monthly depreciation amortization.

Process and verify vendors’ invoices and dealers’ payments

Process and arrange payment as per the schedule

Monitor daily cash flow, fund transfer, and bank balances

Oversee cash flow planning and ensure the availability of funds as needed

Take initiative in collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed

Work closely with the senior accounting team to ensure accurate financial records, compliance with accounting regulations, and efficient financial processes

Implement process improvements and internal controls for greater efficiency and transparency

Assisting with audits, tax agents, company secretary, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies

Perform any ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Requirements

Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or a bachelor’s degree in finance / Accountancy or equivalent.

A minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsible, meticulous, with a good working attitude.

Keen to learn without being hesitant to ask.

Pro-active, team player, able to meet tight deadlines.
