About your role

  • Perform daily financial transactions, including verification, classification, posting, and reconciliation of payments and collections.
  • To ensure daily disbursements are accurately and timely recorded in the book and in an organized manner (timely updating the working schedules).
  • To ensure accurate and timely verification of collections received and update collections into the system.
  • To ensure accurate and timely processing of loan disbursements and updating disbursements into the system.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate General Ledger (GL) entries and bank reconciliations
  • Ensure proper filing and bookkeeping
  • To maintain the Fixed Assets Register timely and correctly, and perform monthly depreciation amortization.
  • Process and verify vendors’ invoices and dealers’ payments
  • Process and arrange payment as per the schedule
  • Monitor daily cash flow, fund transfer, and bank balances
  • Oversee cash flow planning and ensure the availability of funds as needed
  • Take initiative in collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed
  • Work closely with the senior accounting team to ensure accurate financial records, compliance with accounting regulations, and efficient financial processes
  • Implement process improvements and internal controls for greater efficiency and transparency
  • Assisting with audits, tax agents, company secretary, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as and when required.
  • Requirements

  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or a bachelor’s degree in finance / Accountancy or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Responsible, meticulous, with a good working attitude.
  • Keen to learn without being hesitant to ask.
  • Pro-active, team player, able to meet tight deadlines.
