Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts for API and UI testing.
  • Execute automated tests for batch file ingestion, processing, and reconciliation within the Interbank switch.
  • Validate end-to-end transaction flows, including file header, batch-level, and entry-level validations.
  • Use Postman for API contract, functional, and regression testing; design collections for API endpoints.
  • Develop and execute pytest-based automation frameworks for backend validation and business logic testing.
  • Perform Selenium-based UI automation for internal back-office dashboards and portals.
  • Analyze test results, manage defects, generate thorough reports, and ensure timely closure through JIRA or equivalent tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of QA experience, with focus on automation testing.
  • Solid hands-on experience in pytest, Playwright, Selenium, and Postman.
  • Familiarity with API testing methodologies (RESTful services, JSON, XML).
  • Proficient in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
