Job description

Requirements

  • Possess a Secondary / SPM / 'O' Level certificate.
  • Entry-level position; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting tasks.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting software and systems.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Must be residing in Skudai or be able to commute to Skudai if required for occasional on-site meetings or training.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  • Assist with monthly and year-end closing procedures.
  • Support the finance team with administrative tasks and data entry.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets and analyze financial data.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
