Job Description

  • Interact with customers, NI staff, external partners, and external suppliers in support of crafting, implementing, and sustaining custom test solutions.
  • High-level collaborative design of coordinated solutions.
  • Ensure alignment with development processes and standard methodologies.
  • Engage in the development of reusable software to be applied by multiple projects.
  • Review work quality and mentor junior engineers.
  • Work with Project Managers to find efficient technical solutions to project challenges.
  • Responsible for technical work for the given project.
  • Collaborate with the project lead on the design of systems, workflows, and architectures using NI and NI ecosystem tools.
  • Guide the introduction of new systems and workflows to achieve the customer's desired future state.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and support the growth of new talent in ADAS, VSE, EV Power Conversion, and Electronics spaces.
  • Lead customer technical onsite tasks and help advance opportunities.

Who You Are

You will be accountable for delivering software solutions that follow industry best practices, leveraging your business knowledge to identify risks and challenges, and proactively providing technical solutions. You are motivated to solve complex problems and persistent until challenges are resolved.

Requirements

  • BS degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related.
  • 2+ years of experience in SW Development, system integration, or test and measurements industry.
  • Ability to use programming languages like LabVIEW, C#, C++, Python.
  • Excellent communication skills, experience working with customers, engineers, and partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter, independent worker.
  • Leadership in driving tasks and projects.
  • Quick learner of new technologies and systems.
  • Familiarity with NI products.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols.
  • Understanding of ADAS ECUs and sensors.
  • Experience with safety and certification standards for high-power panel design.
  • Experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, VeriStand, PXI / cRIO, C / C++, Python.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins.
