As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for the user experience of Aster's products, representing the voice of the user in all designs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product design (UX / UI) for Aster and continuously improve user experience.
  • Discover design optimization points, set design standards, and promote their implementation with product and engineering teams.
  • Analyze user problems and data (analysis, usability studies, etc.) to provide design decisions and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional, cross‑regional teams of product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Balance user needs with technical constraints to realize the team’s ideas, translating them into exceptional visuals.
  • Participate in production stages from prototyping to delivering scalable production resources, ensuring high‑quality product outputs.
  • Build and maintain Aster’s Design System.
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure consistent and excellent design across products, campaigns, web pages, events, and other brand outputs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong interaction and visual design skills, with a portfolio demonstrating thoughtful problem‑solving in ambiguous or emerging technology spaces.
  • 5+ years of design experience, with 2+ years in crypto, blockchain, fintech, or related industries.
  • Experience as a design generalist, supporting various creative disciplines such as product UI / UX, branding, social media design, motion design, 3D, etc.
  • Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe suite, and Framer, plus curiosity for emerging design technologies—including AI‑driven tools—and a willingness to learn fast.
  • Fluency in English.

    • Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Fluent Mandarin communication is a plus.
  • Experience with on‑chain product trading is a plus.
  • Experience using generative AI tools to enhance design output or ideation.
  • Experience in the crypto industry is a must.
