Overview
To support and provide marine engineering knowledge to FPO hull system, for converted / refurbished and new built systems to ensure project performance targets are achieved in a safe and environmentally sound. This shall be limited to Concept, PreFEED, FEED and real project execution phase.
To participate and contribute to providing marine engineering input to the technical issues raised on Company existing FPSO fleets.
Responsibilities
- Perform all tasks given by supervisors according to industry codes & standards and Company standards.
 - Responsible to prepare marine engineering deliverables based upon Project requirements and Company accepted practices.
 - Able to design marine, utility and accommodation systems for FPSO duty in accordance with classification, IMO, Client and flag state requirements.
 - Able to provide / produce Machinery room and hull related layout for equipment, rooms etc.
 - Prepare line and equipment sizing.
 - Prepare technical specification, datasheets and technical evaluation for marine equipment.
 - Able to understand and prepare simple marine’s design calculation.
 - Prepare HVAC specification / Philosophy and basis of design. Also able to review calculation / specification / data sheet / D&ID.
 - Coordinate / manage where applicable, of different stakeholders / consultant / 3rd parties as applicable such as conversion yard, Class, vendors, engineering company.
 - Support FPSO Operations team on MOCs investigate the equipment failure and provide technical recommendation.
 - To ensure MOC task and implementation of recommendation is within CTR manhours budget and safe for execution and operation.
 
Qualifications
University graduate with BE. / B. Tech in Marine / Mechanical Engineering / Process Engineering.Registered Engineer with BEM.Experience
6 - 10 years’ experience in offshore Oil and Gas field, with at least 5 years in engineering design.Having experience in at least 2 stages of FPSO projects, i.e. conceptual study, FEED, detailed engineering, construction.Experience in Hull system design for conversion and repair.Experience in HVAC system design, or able to manage system execution Leadership Competencies.Able to lead FEED scope for new project with the supervision from HoD.Seniority level
