Job Role As our Events and Community Management Intern, you’ll help build and run real-world and digital experiences that deepen our connection with our audience. You’ll play a key role in planning events, engaging online communities, and executing strategies that make people excited to learn and take part—both in-person and across social media platforms. Key Responsibilities 🎟 Event Planning and Execution -Organize Events : Plan and coordinate community gatherings, educational meetups, and partner-sponsored events, both online and in person. -Event Marketing : Develop and carry out marketing plans for events, working with our content and performance teams. -Logistics Management : Handle all practical details, including venue booking, preparing materials, scheduling, and coordinating with vendors and speakers. -Registration Oversight : Set up and manage event sign-ups (e.g., WhatsApp or Google Forms) and maintain our attendee records. -Content Creation : Write clear and appealing event invitations, promotional text, and post-event summaries. -On-Site Coordination : Be the main point person on event day, preparing instructions, briefing the team, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. -Feedback and Improvement : Collect feedback after events to identify areas for future enhancements. 👥 Community Engagement and Digital Moderation -Audience Interaction : Engage with our audience across various platforms, including Instagram (DMs, Stories, Broadcast Channel), WhatsApp groups, Discord, and comment sections. -Conversation Facilitation : Encourage community discussions using polls, QandAs, reminders, and other interactive content. -Launch Support : Build audience interest before new product launches with strategic updates and regular communication. -Query Resolution : Respond to audience questions across platforms in a helpful and friendly manner. -Content Sharing : Coordinate with the content team to share event highlights, updates, and community achievements through social posts. 🤝 Cross-Team Collaboration -Team Alignment : Work closely with marketing and content teams to ensure community activities support broader campaigns and content launches. -Brand Representation : Act as the voice and ears of our brand, relaying community feedback to the team and ensuring all interactions align with our mission. -Campaign Support : Help develop community contests, challenges, or live discussions linked to new videos or campaigns 📈 Strategy, Administration and Reporting -Growth Management : Track event and community growth, manage calendars, maintain RSVP lists, and keep records updated. -Engagement Experimentation : Test new ideas to boost engagement, using analytics and community feedback to refine approaches. -Performance Reporting : Assist with reporting and sharing insights on what's working well and areas for improvement.
