As a member of the Asia Finance team, the Senior Finance Planning Analyst involves cross-functional engagement across the organization, with a focus on driving impact through robust financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and proactive, utilizing key tools such as Hyperion and Excel to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with plant finance teams located in China, India, and Thailand, as well as operations and functional teams, to ensure forecast accuracy and alignment.
- Support the timely and accurate preparation and consolidation of monthly closings, rolling financial forecasts, annual budgets, and the 5-year Long-Range Plan for Asia Surface Segment plants.
- Conduct standard analyses on volume, revenue, operating income, free cash flow, capital expenditures, and functional savings to provide early business indicators and support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain key operational reports to ensure consistent and reliable financial insights.
- Analyze financial data to ensure compliance with proper accounting procedures.
- Assist with and manage various ad hoc projects as needed.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Hyperion is preferred.Over 5 years of combined experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, and / or Auditing within a manufacturing industry or MNC.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment with a high level of accuracy.Fluent in spoken Mandarin and English.Solid understanding of P&L logic.Familiarity with Lear Corporation and the automotive industry is a plus.Advantages Of Working At Lear
