Payroll Supervisor

Job Description :

Responsible for overseeing compensation and benefits operations, including expatriate management such as payroll, taxation, and mobility coordination.

Familiar with end to end payroll processes including overtime, allowances, deductions, and final pay.

Good knowledge of Malaysian regulation, tax law, statutory requirements and processes.

Accountable to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and delivery as per Payroll schedule; calendar of activities and overall data integrity of HR master data in the Payroll system.

Partner with Internal Super User to perform the monthly reconciliation data audit between the Payroll system.

Maintain accurate and updated record management for employee master data.

Liaising with local government statutory bodies such as LHDN, EPF, SOCSO.

Liaising with external vendors such as insurance providers, medical panels, wellness perks etc.

To collate and compile reports for department and management.

Able to supervise work of subordinates and guide them, resolve issues, and serve as a link between subordinates and upper management.

Any other ad-hoc duties as per required by the manager.

Working days and hours : Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm

Job Requirements :

5–8 years of working experience in Payroll or Accounting background from any industry.

Work experience in the logistics or transportation industry will have an added advantage.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or other related fields.

Proficient in English and Malay; proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Possession of SHRM–CP, CIPD, or AHRI certification is preferred.

Strong data and analytical skills, with proficiency in tools such as pivot tables and formulas.
