About the Role

As a Production Supervisor / Manager with Trivo Electronics Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities across SMT, Wave, Test and Assembly processes. This role involves managing production manpower, ensuring quality and efficiency, and guiding frontline operators to meet production targets in alignment with company goals.

Summary Description

  • Supervise and coordinate production operations to ensure smooth workflow and product quality.
  • Manage manpower allocation and ensure efficient use of working hours.
  • Monitor production quality, efficiency, and adherence to standards, applying lean tools for improvement.
  • Train and develop production operators and team leaders, fostering skill growth and discipline.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

1. Production Management

  • Oversee SMT, Wave, Test, and Assembly processes for industrial, meter, and mobile phone products.
  • Ensure production schedules are met with optimal manpower utilization.
  • Monitor daily production output, quality performance, and efficiency.

    • 2. Manpower Supervision

  • Allocate and schedule manpower according to production needs.
  • Provide on-the-job guidance and support to line leaders and operators.
  • Participate in operator training programs and assist in developing training plans for new employees.

    • 3. Quality and Efficiency Control

  • Monitor in-process quality and implement corrective actions when deviations occur.
  • Apply lean production tools to improve productivity and reduce waste.
  • Support customer satisfaction by driving continuous improvements in production performance.

    • 4. Reporting and Improvement

  • Support departmental performance tracking against KPIs.
  • Provide input for supervisor and operator performance evaluations.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly production review meetings, proposing and implementing improvements.

    • What We're Looking For

  • Education : Diploma or above in Electronics, Manufacturing or related fields.

    • Experience :

    At least 5 years of high discipline production supervision experience.

  • Experience in high-mix / low volume and high quality manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools (TPS, FMEA, PDCA, QC tools).
  • Experience in manpower scheduling and frontline team coordination.

    • Skills :

    Good communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to supervise, train, and motivate operators.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO9001 quality management system.

    • Attitude :

    Honest, hardworking, and dependable.

  • Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
