Backend Developer-SQL

We are seeking a Backend Developer SQL with strong expertise in SQL Server development and administration. The role involves building, optimizing, and maintaining backend database solutions while ensuring smooth performance across development and production environments. The ideal candidate will be skilled in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, T-SQL scripts, and ETL processes with SSIS, while also supporting database performance, migration, and integration. Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain backend SQL Server databases for both development and production environments.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver efficient backend database solutions.
• Implement ETL workflows using SSIS and manage data migration, import / export processes.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and execution plan analysis.
• Monitor and maintain database health, performance, and scheduled jobs.
• Implement database security, backup, and recovery strategies in line with company policies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for backend processes and database designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database performance and connectivity.
• Work with replication, mirroring, and clustering for high availability when required.
• Contribute to backend integration with applications and APIs.
• Adhere to Change and Problem Management processes for backend systems.
• (Advantageous) Automate tasks and enhance database operations using PowerShell.
