Finance Executive

Overview

We are looking for a Finance Executive to join our team. This role will be primarily responsible for managing banking operations and facilities-related matters, while also supporting the finance team in daily financial activities.

This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur.

Key Responsibilities

• Banking & Facilities
• Prepare, renew, and maintain the Bank Guarantee schedule
• Handle term loan reimbursement, disbursement, and hire purchase schedules
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records
• Ensure banking and financial operations comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Draft letters to banks for transfers between escrow and operating accounts
• Update monthly fixed deposit interest for reporting purposes
• Compile, file, and maintain records of bank facilities, offer letters, legal agreements, credit cards, term loans, and FD statements
• Prepare and renew all-risk equipment insurance related to bank facilities; liaise with insurance agents
• Handle new applications and monitor company corporate credit card usage
• Update bank covenant compliance and term loan schedules
• Asset & Advances Management
• Update and monitor capital expenditure (Capex in transit)
• Maintain and update asset listing schedules
• Process and track staff advance reimbursements and transactions
• Finance Support
• Assist the Senior Finance Manager in preparing documentation for yearly financial reports and tax computations
• Support the finance team in daily tasks, including filing payment vouchers, supplier invoices, and staff claims
• Carry out ad-hoc assignments as instructed by management
