SALES EXECUTIVE

This position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Execute the hotel’s Sales & Marketing plan to achieve and exceed revenue goals.

Conduct daily sales calls and weekly client entertainments or hotel inspections.

Handle business leads, proposals, contracts, and inquiries with accuracy, ensuring responses and proactive follow-up to secure bookings.

Organise and participate in monthly sales blitz campaigns, sales trips (domestic or overseas), and cross‑selling opportunities within the Meliá group to expand the hotel’s client base.

Work closely with the Sales Team and other departments to ensure smooth operations, share market insights, and continuously seek ways to improve sales performance and customer experience.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Language : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. The ability to speak local dialects and Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese) is a distinct advantage, especially for communicating with foreign guests from China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Sound knowledge of Opera System and Microsoft Office Suite.

At least 01 year of similar experience in the hotel industry.
