Your new company

Our client is a world leader in the development, supply and technical support of specialty ingredients; formulated film coating systems, modified release technologies, and functional excipients for the pharmaceutical, nutritional and animal health industries. They are currently seeking a Planner to support production processes to ensure efficient production flow for a new plant setup.

Your new role

You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the production schedule while optimising material planning, inventory management, and production coordination. This role requires close collaboration with Customer Service, Production, Quality, and Procurement teams to balance supply and demand, ensuring efficient production flow and on-time shipments.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
• Experience as a planner in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to procurement and supply chain functions.
• Experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
• Added advantage : Experience in pharmaceutical plants is a plus
