About the role : Secondary English Teacher

We are looking for an experienced teacher of English who can create a classroom culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved. The ideal candidate will :

  • Clearly articulate and evidence responsive practice to affect student learning
  • Show evidence of professional growth, both academic and pastoral
  • Maintain an ongoing interest in educational research and further professional development
  • Communicate clearly across varied platforms and contexts to a range of audiences
  • Have experience or interest in curriculum design
  • Teach EAL / SL English at IGCSE and / or KS3 (CELTA advantage)
  • Teach Media Studies at IGCSE and / or A‑Level

About you

You hold a university degree in your specialist subject, a teaching qualification, and considerable teaching experience with strong knowledge of the curriculum. You are receptive to feedback, ready to embrace change, and eager to share best practice with colleagues. You are a strong ambassador for the school, able to engage students, parents, and the wider community. You also meet visa‑related requirements for Malaysia.

    The closing date for applications is 01 / 12 / 2025. Assessment will include two stages of interview, including a panel interview.
