Senior Loss Prevention Engineer

Overview

We are seeking Senior Loss Prevention Engineers with experience of major EPC projects. Candidates should have strong experience in the following : Responsibilities

Design of Firewater and foam System covering UFD / P&IDs, Demand and sizing, and Hydraulic Calculations Design of Fire Suppression System covering UFD / P&IDs, Specification HSE and Fire Protection Philosophy for overall offshore and onshore facilities Passive Fire Protection covering PFP Specification, Schedule & Drawings Preparations of Safety Specifications (Fire Fighting, Life Saving, Safety Signage) and Data Sheets Safety Drawings including Escape Route, Safety & Fire Fighting Equipment and Safety Sign Layout Coordinating with other disciplines during all stages of design development Ensure that the design meets all Process Safety requirements and maintains risks to as low as reasonably practicable Provide input to planning, MDR, and schedule data as required Direct and supervise a team of relevant discipline engineers Review and approval of vendor documentation Management of and liaison with 3rd party safety consultants to enable project risk assessments and safety studies to be produced, then review and close-out of safety studies recommendations Ensures compliance with all applicable government and industrial code requirements that are required on safety documents Experience in Firewater Transient and Surge Analysis will be an added advantage Skills

Full-time Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience 10-15 years of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards Seniority level
