Overview

We are seeking a talented Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Southern Cable Sdn Bhd in Kuala Ketil, Kedah. As a full-time Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our electrical systems and infrastructure. What you'll be doing

Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify and address any issues proactively.
Troubleshooting and resolving electrical problems in a timely manner to minimise downtime and maintain optimal production.
Implementing preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of electrical assets and improve overall system reliability.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate electrical maintenance activities and ensure seamless integration with other operations.
Providing technical guidance and support to fellow engineers and technicians, sharing your expertise and contributing to the professional development of the team.
Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities, equipment performance, and any corrective actions taken.
Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Must have knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices.

Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.

Commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
