- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for commodity food ingredients to ensure consistent, cost-effective, and high-quality supply.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with suppliers to optimise pricing, ensure supply continuity, and drive operational efficiency.
- Lead commercial negotiations and manage end-to-end supplier performance, ensuring alignment with business targets in quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, finance, and quality assurance to align sourcing efforts with broader business goals and innovation initiatives.
- Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of commodity price trends, supply risks, and shifts in consumer demand, supporting both cost control and product development.
- Monitor procurement and supply chain KPIs, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and implement data‑driven improvement plans.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and food safety standards.
- Support cost modelling and costing analysis related to new and existing products, providing insights for budgeting and pricing strategies.
- Play an active role in supplier audits, risk assessments, and sustainability initiatives within the supply chain.
