Job description of the Finance Manager

• Lead the month end closing and reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance to accounting standard and company policies and procedure
• Review, analyse variance on monthly, quarterly and yearly management and financial reporting and present the financial results to operation team
• Formulate and review accounting processes / policies throughout the Company to ensure accounting and financial reports accurately reflect the conditions of the business and provide reliable information for control and management purposes.
• Direct preparation of budgets, review budget proposals and prepare necessary supporting documentation and justification.
• Provide management with timely reviews of organisation’s financial status and progress in its various activities and programs.
• Responsible for the review and submission of sales and service tax
• Business partnering with business unit to develop annual budgets and forecast
• Ensure implementation of internal control and adherence of operating procedures to achieve compliance of company policies;
• Streamline and recommend improvements to the existing internal controls and accounting practices
• Involve in process improvement and project implementation
• Review and provide recommendation to business unit through financial analysis for decision making in order to maximize productivity / profit / ROI.
• Develop and improve team performance through training, coaching and feedback. Monitoring team performance and development of goals.
