Analyst, Demand Planning – Energizer Holdings

Position Summary

The demand planner will drive the demand forecast by leveraging analytics and sales insights, ensuring accurate publication of demand forecasts in the planning system that meet the business’s financial targets.

Responsibilities

  • Demand Planning Process 90% :

Generate demand forecast baseline based on historical trends and known insights.

  • Proactively review forecast compared with the latest financial target and past month performance with Sales / Commercial.
  • Review SKUs with high forecast error from the past month and correct future forecast after review with Sales / Commercial.
  • Monthly reporting on forecast accuracy and follow up to investigate root causes of error.
  • Lead the S&OP meeting.
  • Weekly track & review sales progress vs forecast and vs financial target; review with Sales for anomalies (oversell / undersell).
  • Project long‑term forecast (12–24 months) based on the latest trend.
  • Maintain forecast in SAP IBP to ensure correct data flow to source for supply planning.
  • Tracking of NPDs (new product introductions), ensuring timely upload of forecast to support launch timing.
  • Others :

    • Follow up with Commercial to help drive SLOB depletion.

  • Collaborate with both Supply Planning and Sales / Commercial to expedite / de‑expedite, minimizing OOS and excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on matters related to NPDs (identifying and tracking launch timing, phase‑in / out, cannibalization impact).
  • Collaborate with Finance on yearly ABP projection and quarterly QF projection by providing insights related to demand trends and aligning the latest financial plan with demand plan.
