Plant General Manager, Heavy Machinery

Job Description

As the Plant GM, you will be the leader of the company's operations and manufacturing teams. As part of the senior leadership team, your contributions make a direct impact on the company's performance. With your technical background, you will be at the helm of innovation and efficiency, driving production excellence and quality standards.

• Technical Expertise & Oversight : Provide guidance and direction to engineering, maintenance, and production teams in relation to machinery design, modifications, installation and after sales service. Leverage knowledge in machinery design to troubleshoot complex equipment issues, suggest design modifications, and implement solutions.
• Efficiency Improvement : Identify areas for operational efficiency, reduce waste, and implement lean manufacturing techniques. Ensure production goals are met by overseeing the manufacturing process, scheduling, and resource allocation within project timelines.
• Innovative Design Integration : Promote and implement innovative design techniques to improve the adaptability of machinery. Identify opportunities to integrate automation and smart technologies into plant machinery to streamline operations and increase productivity.
• Supply Chain Management : Manage the end to end supply chain from production to logistics teams.
• Team Leadership : Provide guidance and mentoring, while promoting an atmosphere of cross-functional collaboration.
