Axway API Developer

Axway API Developer to design, develop, and manage APIs using the Axway API Management platform. The ideal candidate with more than 5yrs of relevant experience will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of APIs, enhance application performance, and ensure secure data exchange across systems. This role requires expertise in API design principles, Axway tools, and a strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns.

• API Development and Management
• Design and develop APIs using the Axway API Gateway and other Axway components.
• Implement RESTful and SOAP APIs, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Optimize APIs for performance, scalability, and security.
• Integration and Troubleshooting
• Integrate APIs with enterprise systems and third-party applications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within the Axway API Gateway and associated services.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of API services.
• Security Implementation
• Implement API security measures such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Configure policies for traffic management, authentication, and authorization.
• Monitoring and Maintenance
• Set up monitoring tools to track API usage and performance.
• Maintain API documentation and update as changes are implemented.
• Perform regular system upgrades and patches to keep the Axway platform current.
• Collaboration and Communication
• Work with architects, developers, and business teams to gather API requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams on Axway tools.
• Collaborate on integration strategies and share insights on improving API delivery.
• Continuous Improvement
• Stay updated on Axway platform enhancements and industry trends.
• Suggest improvements to API design and delivery processes.
